This site is built to be usable with a keyboard, with a screen reader, at large text sizes and on a small screen.
What is checked, and when
Every page type on this site is tested automatically against the WCAG 2.2 AA rules that automated tools can check, in a real browser, at both a phone and a desktop width. That happens on every change rather than once at launch, and a failure stops the change.
Text and background color combinations are checked for contrast before they can be used anywhere. Interactive controls carry visible focus indicators and are large enough to hit on a touchscreen. Menus do not depend on hovering, forms have real labels that stay visible, and animation is suppressed for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
What automated testing does not cover
Automated checks catch a useful fraction of accessibility problems and not all of them. Whether a description of an image is actually helpful, or whether a page makes sense read aloud in order, needs a person.
Telling us about a problem
If something on this site does not work for you, email impactpaintingmi@gmail.com and say so. That is the route we prefer, because it leaves a record and does not require you to speak to anyone. You can also call any of the numbers on the contact page. It is a fault on our side and we would like to know about it.
