This page describes what this website collects and what happens to it.
What the estimate form collects
Your name, a phone number or email address, the area and service you selected, anything you type in the message field, and any photographs you attach. The page you submitted from, the time of submission, the referring page and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived on are recorded with it, so we know which inquiry came from where.
What it is used for
Replying to you about the work you asked about, and preparing an estimate. Nothing more.
Impact Painting does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers only as reasonably necessary to operate the website, communicate with you, process your request, provide requested services, or comply with legal obligations.
Photographs you upload
Uploads are stored in a directory that is not reachable from the web and is not listed by the server. They are renamed on receipt, so the original filename does not become a public address. They are used to understand the job and are not published anywhere without asking you first.
Cookies
One cookie records the campaign parameters of the link you first arrived on, so an inquiry can be attributed to the advert or listing that produced it. It holds no name, no contact detail and nothing that identifies you personally.
How long it is kept
Inquiry information is generally retained for up to 3 years after the last interaction unless the inquiry becomes a customer relationship, in which case relevant records may be retained longer for business, warranty, accounting, tax, or legal purposes.
Asking us about your data
Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by email to impactpaintingmi@gmail.com. Email is the route we prefer for these requests, because it leaves both of us a record of what was asked and when. You can also call any of the numbers on the contact page.
